Should I go to the hospital?

I recently posted about my gall bladder attacks due to gall stones. I've been dealing with this for over 2 years and haven't seen a doctor about it yet. I'm feeling another one coming on right now, and am thinking I could go to the hospital and have it taken care of right here and now.
Problem is today is a special day, it's my anniversary.
Would you go get surgery today if you were me?
What do you think I should do?

After reading your other discussions I know that you did got to the doctor. That was a wise choice. You do not want to take a risk of your gall bladder bursting. Trust me. My surgery was botched and they spilled the contents of my gall bladder inside me. It was VERY uncomfortable. Not something anyone would ever want to deal with.

My gall bladder and my liver were fused together, but they did not know it until they went in. When they were pulling the gall bladder out it ripped because it was fused to my liver. They still did it laparoscopic it just took longer. My recovery was a bit longer than yours will be. But all in all within a few weeks I was fine. I will tell you this though. Greasy fatty food will now go right through you. Right after my surgery it was really bad. Now, 8 years later it still goes through me, but not as bad as when I first had it done. PM me if you have any other questions.

Yikes! Well I was just going to go back to my most recent post and ask you about your recovery... but I think I won't now as yours would have been different from mine. I was not told of any problems during the surgery, so I'm guessing all went well. Were they not able to do it laproscopically after that?

I don't care what day it is. If you need to see a doctor, GO! Don't make me worry.
You cannot play with your health. I HATE doctors but when it is something I think might be serious, I go. I know this is your anniversary, and happy anniversary, but please if you think this could be serious just go to the doctor.

Actually it's not very serious. I've been dealing with it for over 2 years, and of course now the pain is gone, so I'm not planning on going to the doctor today. One day soon I will though, I have to have it taken care of eventually.

Happy Anniversary, my 40th was yesterday, the 6th of May.. I do believe that I would go and get started on having it taken care off, then you would have no more misery.. My brother-in-law had surgery for his gall bladder and hasn't had any more trouble with it.. It will take awhile for the doctors to schedule the surgery anyway, so enjoy your day but get the ball rolling.. Might be good not to have any more of those attacks..

I don't actually have a doctor, and I am in a lot of pain right now. I am thinking of going to the ER right now and they will probably do the surgery today.
We don't really have plans for the day, but still I am not sure I want to waste it by having surgery.
There will be other anniversaries, but there will also be other days to go to the ER. I am just not sure what to do.
