Hey all! I've just read this on yahoo news. Seems like people who sleep less than six hours and more than nine hours are more likely to be obese. This is supposed to be the largest govermental study to link between irregular sleep and big bellies. They also said that people who sleep less are linked to higher smoking rates, less physical activity and alchohol use. This study is based on door-to-door surveys of 87,000 us adults from 2004 to 2006. So...how many hours do you sleep at night?

well, that is true because if you sleep less your going to become more irate and stress in thus is going to make you sleep more. and if you sleep more its going to make you more tried then when you went to sleep at first plus laziness occurs in some!

Except in the most disruptive of emergencies, I insist on getting at least 8 hours of sleep each day or night, as the case may be. Originally a "morning person" I married a devout night owl some 40-odd years ago, and now I bounce back and forth between throwing in the towel at a somewhat reasonable hour in order to be able to get up early and get some work done or staying up later than him. I think the idea that too little sleep leads to illness is a no-brainer and that governments should spent their resources in investigating things the average persons isn't smart enough to figure out, but there you go. Too much sleep? Sounds lovely, but I have things to do, and cannot imagine that happening to me. Sound like something that would be fun to try.
