Aw thanks Breath! I can't do much physically so I love to encourage them with things and support them any way I can! She says she wants to be a blood doctor when she grows up (her words - she is fascinated by blood) I just hope she doesn't combine that with her art - could get gruesome! lol I bet your daughter is really cute too! xxx

So that is where it came from - it is starting to become clear now! We keep passing thses tests don't we - one of these days we will meet in person and it will be as though we have been family forever! Ii have told her and she is walking around with a huge grin on her face now! Hugs Mom xxx

Isn't it funny how the very thing that encourages them when they are younger embarrasses them when they are a bit older? lol I too believe in encouragement and praise going a long way - and I always try to do that with both my kids, we shall see if it works soon enough! My eldest is 14 and although is a smart, caring and good lad he is at that stage where everything you say to him is wrong! lol I had to ask Niamh for permission to post this as she was quite embarrased when she found out about the reading in the bath post and I didn't want to upset her! lol Sounds like you have done a great job with all of your kids and you are quite rightly very proud of them all! All I can say is he is not in the MAN U, LIVERPOOL,CHEALSY,ARSNAL thats as much as I dare say. You can be as nosey as you like lol. I cant tell you!!!!! I will always be proud of my children even if they fail misserably in the future. They should know what they want as they are adults, not babys any more! My Daughter has four children 1st Boy,2nd Girl,3rd Twins,Boy and Girl shes stoped there, thats it! They are all little darlings.

I am not only a Gran of four, but Im a gran of three children belonging to my sons girlfriend ( they are not his). They are boy8 boy5 girl4, they are great kids. Thats another story!!!!!! lol

LOL Wow - so a gran of 7 then? My partners Mum is the same with my son - I was married before and my son is my ex husbands but we split when he was a very young baby and my partner and I have been together since my son was just 4 - his mother treats him the very same as she treats my 6 year old daughter and has seemed to love him since the day she met him - i realise I am very lucky to have a MIL like that - sounds like your sons girlfriend is too! xxxx

I spoil them rotten, I went to a car boot today a bought them a top each for the summer they were only 50pence each and one for their mum they where all chuffed to bits. Im not wealthy so I dont spend big bucks on any of my grandchildren, they do get new things for birthdays and christmas. The 4yr olds name is summer so when I say ive got some thing for summer for you summer she giggles. lol.

See I think you spoil them with love and that is the most important thing! My Gran is always buying little things for my kids - sometimes quite expensive things sometimes - she has struggled and worked all her life and she likes to spoil the kids now that she can - the only thing is my kids worry that she is spending all her money on them so she has promised to stick to bargains only unless it is birthdays or Christmas! I am so glad that I met you here sweety - you are great! xxx

Thank you so much! She has mastered that innocent, sweet look hasn't she? lol Niall still hasn't laminated the invite but he has promised to do it tomorrow and he has been out and about all weekend- he even went up Dumyat today with some friends after church!

Yup Faither had them all washed and tumble dried when I got up yesterday, and I did all my ironing, so they are all back in the wardrobe, Ross has just had a phone call from E and he is smiling:) xx

That is great - I was so worried they would be stained! You 2 are show offs - having everything washed, dried and ironed so quickly! lol I can imagine what his face is like - tell him to wipe that cheesy grin off his face right now! xxx

This is what happens when you answer discussions direct from e mail notifications. Those monsters look very real to me. I wouldn't want to meet one wandering about my back garden. She's captured them beautifully. Here's to the next exhibition.

LOL I do that all the time sweety! The monsters are a Brontosaurus and a pterodactyl - she was learning about dinosaurs when she did that picture! Did you know the Brontosaurus was a long neck and that it had a very small head - it would eat foliage off trees and shrubs and had to eat allo the time to keep it from getting hungry? These are some of the things she told me yesterday! lol Hugs to you my darling! xxx

Send the Brontosaurus round please. I need the garden weeding. I'll stay inside and watch though. Niamh can give him his orders. He looks very fierce.

You know whiteheather you have really touched me with this response - I thank you from the bottom of my heart! You know what is so spooky is today she made me a card telling me I was the best mum in the world and she loved me - we had mothers day in March and she didn't know it was Mothers Day in America and Canada! xxxx

Oh 30 I bet you were ready to burst with pride! i think it is so sad that some kids have to struggle so hard and when they get that little bit of help you see what they are really capable of!
