I'm writing an article on redbox for Associated Content and I'd like to do a feasability study on people who have tried it and liked it or didn't. If you've tried it let me know. I have and I love it. The little red box has definately replaced the blue store.

Red Box movies are a great deal. We are getting more and more of them down here everyday. I know when I lived in St. Louis there were Red Boxes all over the place. I like that you can return them to whatever Red Box you are closest to instead of going all the way across town to the one you got it from.

I have used it a few times. I think they are a fantastic deal, and one Monday a month they usually have free movie codes. Of course you have to rush back the next day to return or pay another dollar, but that is not so bad since you can go to any Redbox to return the movie. You can't get older movies either, but it is a fantastic way to get a new movie very in-expensively. Would love to read your article when you are done. PM me the link.

I didn't know what this was until just today when my son's grandma was telling me about it. she said you just slide your card into the machine and get the movie for $1 a day or something like that and they have machines all over the place. She really likes it.

Since we have little ones we don't go to the movies like we use to. Now if they want to see a new release we get it from redbox for $1, which usually sets right next to the movie display that has them for $20.00. Not a hard choice to make. You should give it a shot, I think you'll like it.

I have never heard about Red Box here in california... We have the blockbuster, LA Video, etc. I have not been using them... I go to the local discount movie theatre at the Main Place Mall in Orange where I can see a movie on a large screen in an air conditioned theatre for $1.25 on Tuesdays and $1.75 every other day, morning, noon or night... I think that it is wonderful. I am not sure that Red Box can compare with the experience of the large screen.

No it can't, but if you don't have those options the theater is the best bet.

If there's a Movie Cube near by they have older movies, and they're only $1 too.
