The most dishonorable, bigoted Barak Obama just reinforced how ignorant he is. He said that the U.S. Military Arabic speaking Linguists are all in Iraq, so there aren't any available for Afghanistan. Mr. Obama... please explain to me how many Arabic linguists are needed in a country where the people DON'T SPEAK ARABIC!

Well he isn't totally wrong, as Arabic is spoken by many in Afghanistan, even though Farsi/Dari is the official language spoken there. No it was not his brightest moment, but hey, maybe his speech writer was asleep while writing. LOL

That's the thing, he wasn't working with a teleprompter at the time. He is great with the teleprompter, but when he has to think for himself, he's not that good.

All the more confirmation for me that he is a puppet for something much more powerful. He is fed what to say and when pressed for original material, he says things like this. Or maybe it's a freudian slip....?? Either way, it's not good.

Listen, If your going to call obama ignorant you should probably be sure to spell his name right. Also, although linguists who speak Pashtu and Dari would be preferable, Arabic speaking linguists would also be helpful in the diverse country of Afghanistan. Furthermore, at least he is paying attention to Afghanistan, which is a country that needs international aid far more than Iraq.

Apparently you are one who thinks that since there was little press on the US operations in Afghanistan, it was being "ignored". It wasn't being ignored by Prs. Bush, the pentagon, US Central Command, or the Officers, NCOs and troops in country. Operations were conducted on a daily basis, some successful, some less than successful. Just because the incompetent press wanted you to think it was being ignored doens't mean that was true.

Wow, that's really something. When a person doesn't even know that, how are they supposed to run a country? My husband is American, and I'm Canadian, thankfully. My American husband said something very interesting about this particular election. He said "I wish I could just ote 'NO!'"

There are so-called educated people voting for him all over the United States of America. I question what it means to be educated. Especially, Harvard....

This is the same Obama who thinks "Austrian" is the language they speak in Austria. At a news conference he answered an Austrian reporter's question by saying "I don't know what the term is in Austrian." A rather general knowledge of the world or even having seen "The Sound of Music" would be sufficient for most people to know that they speak German in Austria. If the guy who sells you bread and milk at the convenience store doesn't know that, you probably wouldn't worry about it. If he's the president of the country and responsible for negotiating with other heads of state around the world, then you have to wonder how qualified he is.
