She chews the toy til she gets the squeaker.  |

 Why do dogs do that?
My puppy will chew a stuffed toy apart until she gets at the squeaker then promptly looses interest in the toy. Shes never interested in the squeaker-less toys for chewing apart. her dad does the same thing.

They hear that enticing noise and they want to find out what it is. Once they have accomplished this, then there is no challenge. I bought my cat a little fish on a string that was tied to a small pole. She played with it for 5 minutes, chewed the string, snapped the fish off and that was the end of that toy.

She has had this toy for almost 3 months now and has yet to get the squeakers out of it. What is even better is she LOVES to play with it.
