Does anyone have any good ideas for something I can do with shredded paper aside from use it as pet bedding? The only pets I have are cats, and they don't need bedding.
So what can I do with this stuff?

Packaging material perhaps? Or how about offering it to someone else who keeps small animals like guinea pigs or rabbits? I use it along with straw for my rabbits and just can't get enough of the stuff!
Or if you have kids, how about making some papier mache? Mix it with a very thin solution of wall paper paste and they can model with it. If they wrap it round a balloon then add egg box legs and nose they can make a 'piggy' bank
Shredded paper will break down in your compost heap, or you can use it as mulch in the garden. It's a good idea to put it under something else in the garden though, otherwise the wind will make a lovely mess with it.
How about making a lucky dip next special occassion? Wrap little prezzies, and bury them in a dustbin of shredded paper. The kids will have fun (and make lots of mess!).

Do you have a garden? It can go into a compost heap or you could work it directly into the soil.
How about packaging delicate items? Glassware, dishes, etc.
Do you recycle locally? Shredded paper can be recycled just like regular paper.

Yes I can recycle it, I'm just wondering if there are other uses for it before I recycle it. Thanks for the ideas.

If you have really too many of them, you can put them in a nice, small satin bag, sew it or zip closed and use it as your pillow.

That really doesn't sound comfortable, lol. But thanks anyways.
