My friend died

I don't have any good advice for you, there's nothing I can see that will ease the pain of the death of someone you care for. I'm sorry for your loss.

The process is personal, this is your time to experience loss and ALL of it's emotions, from hilarious to hatred...feelings.
I have had many deaths in my family, not pretty ones either, or NATURAL ones..suicides and drug deaths.
It is a life time journey for me of missing them and being angry as well...

Thats rough and I am personally sorry that you are without a doubt being put through horrible emotional paid. One reason many people are sad about death is because they blame themselves. Even though I confident this is not your case you should still keep in mind that you could not have done anything to prevent it nor stop it. A good thing to do is to think of all the great qualities and even good times or laughs you had with her. Remembering the good things about the person rather than the fact that they are gone really takes off some of the emotional stress. My suggestion is to sit down with your friend and talk about the good attributes and times you had with her. Just realize that she would not want your life to be worse just because hers is over. i am so sorry to hear about what hapeens to your friend's mum terry... my deepest condolences to her... i know it is not easy to accept this kind of grieve... but unfortunately, it is part of life as we are living in a sinful world... i will pray for you and your friend so that God will give both of you the strength to pass the grieving time and the condolences that both of you need... take care and God Bless you...

It's never easy to face sudden, unexpected death, TerryZ, so usually will try to have a whopperof a big cry initially and gradually the crying jags will stop. It also helps to call to mind any amusing anecdotes that you associate with that particular person. I know this helped me upon my sister's and mother's deaths. I will be praying for you.

I am so sorry that your friends mom died Terry. I know your still recovering from your surgery and now this. It's so much to handle in a short time. I will be thinking about you and your friend. I don't really know what else to say, but I am really sorry.

How come your so mad? Death is part of life, and she died in her sleep. There is no better way to go than that. When I go I sure hope its in my sleep.

I can relate to this subject I've had friends die. It isn't that easy to get over, but keep your chin up, think positive thoughts and be there for others in this time of sorrow. The one main thing you must remember is that they are in a better place now and are watching over you. So don't be sad really you'll see them again one day. Death is not the end but just the next stage in life.

Hi TerryZ, It is always very sad to lose someone you love. Maybe it would help if you could visit with the family. You didn't say if you lived near your friend. To be there for another helps you as well. If you can't do that, then try to keep busy It will be rough for a while, but time is the great healer. Blessings.
