I've made up my mind for who want to vote for!

I agree with you I wish that John Fitzgerald Kennedy was still around because he would in my opinion be able to straighten the economy out and make it a better place,because he was great leader,and an even better president,and I agree we should be able to choose none of the above,since I dont think half of the people who run for president have any idea of what they are doing, thats why I dont vote.

Amen to that. I was not born when JFK was president but i have heard some very good things about him and a few bad things on the side that really had nothing to do with his title in the office. I just wish they would get someone in there to do something for this country. I want someone who cares for us and does not lie to us every chance they get. They all promise this and that and then once elected, they do nothing but make things worse.

Hi Maggie, I can understand your frustration especially being a republican. you like many Americans aren't happy with their choices this year, and are afaid of who will win. I am going to vote for Obama, but I must say that I think either would be better than the one that we have now. Good luck

Interesting thread. JFK certainly brought glamour to politics. But I think his "discreet philandering" had more to do with the discretion of the media back in the day. It was nothing like the scrutiny the candidates are under today. A little before JFK, there was a president in a wheel chair and the press knew never to photograph the wheelchair or his crutches so that most of the country did not even know FDR was crippled. Can you imagine that happening today? Guess we have to take them warts and all but it certainly gets in the way of discretion not to mention glamour. LOL
