do you fold or roll / myLot

We have a pretty small linen closet in our home. I used to try and fold our towels. But there never seemed to be enough room. So recently we decided to roll the towels. We can fit more in. And it looks neater now too.

Actually I started rolling my towels for the same reason and my washclothes. We never had enough room to put them all till I started rolling them now they fit alot better and as you said they look nice and neat and I think more attractive then the folded one.

Maybe I should try that. We have a horrible time with putting our towels away and I've always folded my towels. But now that I think of it we may just have too many towels. lol

Right now we have a really big towel "shelf" and MIL insists everything be folded. Way back when, I had a small bathroom with very limited storage and so I rolled all the towels. I like it much better that way.

I have always folded my towels. I never thought about rolling them, but then again we have plenty of places to put folded towels so it is not really necessary. It is a good idea though for people with limited space.

I do not like to roll. The towels get folded. Usually in fours but it depends on the size of the shelves. I recently got a rack system from Ikea and tried the rolling thing. It's just too bulky for me. It doesn't look any neater either.

That sounds like a great idea! I've done some rolling in the past myself, even though I mostly fold. But it certainly does take up less room, and it gives your towels a kind of unique and decorative look.

guess it looks neater but no i could not roll my linen. i am lucky i do have enough place to keep my linen so i do keep them folded. feel more confortable doing that.
