Crime in Your Area

i don't really don't know what are the crime occur on our area but only i know is it's very safe here. we even leave our front door open.

I actually live in one of the highest crime cities in the country, but I live in one of the nicest parts of it. It's one of those places where you can be in one area that is totally scaryville, and then you drive a mile or two and there are million dollar homes.

I live in an apartment complex at the edge of town...borders the next town. It's nice and pretty safe, but I have heard recently of car break ins here.

I don't know what the last crime was. It's probably happening as I type this. The last major crime was a college student being murdered in her neighborhood.

Fortunately, I have no idea when the last crime was committed around here. I don't even recall the last time I saw a police car in the area (doing anything other than running a speed trap). The closest I ever was to crime was when the police came to my door because someone was shot in my backyard. I was taking a shower at the time and didn't hear anything. It was pretty scary, though.

I'm with you: when I hear people yelling and screaming I head for cover, not out to get in the middle of it -- unless I genuinely think I can help.

About a week and a half ago I was mylotting late into the night. When I got hungry I walked down to the convienience store near my house to get a sandwich or something. I noticed a police car parked in the lamplight outside and thought nothing of it, probably just a hungry cop on the late shift. This hungry young cop however, stopped me at the door firmly. "I just want you to know this place has been robbed."

My area is full of crime activity too,
but not knowing by many.
Averagely 5 stealing case and 5 robbing case each day in my city.
But the last big crime case should be around 1-2 month ago,
robbing case with gun in gold shop.
Beside, there are also case like someone make 5 gun shots at the glass of one shop,
without hurting anyone,
just to warning the owner of that shop.

It make me feel that gun is easy to buy here,
even it's illegal.

I used to live in Baltimore City, Maryland. It has an extremely high crime rate. If I still lived there, I could not tell you what the last crime to be committed because there were so many of them every day.

I personally witnessed a kidnapping, what was apparently a man who had just dumped a dead body into a wooded area (I was driving by and saw this man looking very suspicious, then jumped into his car and sped off and a woman's body was found right there the next morning), a police shootout, a drug raid next door to me and a few men beating their wives. I lived next door (in another house from the other one with the drug raid) where a woman stabbed her husband.

It was a horrible place to live. I can sympathize with you living where you are. I understand completely how it feels. I always wanted to be somewhere else, too.

I now live in a very safe area. It is rural with farm houses all around. These people are hard-working and wouldn't even have the time to THINK about committing a crime. I'm so glad to be out of that city!

I have no idea what the last crime was in my area in my hometown, but at LSU, I know that a murder happend a few months back. That was scary. Baton Rouge, LA. is such a dangerous place.

I think you would be better off living with your parents and paying them rent. The last crime I remember was the doctor who has a practice in a medical building behind our apt complex..his wife was killed by one of his patients.

My area is very safe, never hear about crime.

It is very safe and quiet, I am away from the city, on suburbs. We have older people here and many self-employed people.

OMG!Pam that is really awful. I would be scared out of my wits. Maybe you can look for another place to live. I know its pain in the butt. Im worried about you. Your take care of you self sweetie.
