These are the infamous words of my best friend. She first uttered them to me about 10 years ago and you know what she was right. Things do tend to work themselves out, with a little effort on our part. Every time I start to stress out now I think of these words of wisdom and relax. Is there some words of wisdom that someone has given you over the years that have stuck in your head and are true to life?

I live by those exact words, everyday. Or I should say I try to. I try to not let things get to me anymore, since they do work out somehow. I also believe that everything happens for a reason. We may not know what the reason is at the time, but in the end we usually find out why. But in saying all of this, I used to stress about everything, when I was younger. But age has a tendency to change the way we think.

Yeah, I have some words of wisdom that stayed with me and that are 'true to life' that help me to change the direction of my thoughts, and they are: "When you are worrying about something, you are using the power of your mind to create what you don't want." So when I find myself doing that, I remember those words and immediately say to myself "Ok, that's what I DON'T want, so what is it that I DO want?" Works every time.

Hi whywiki.. Yeah, a friend of mine told me this word of wisdom a long time ago that is not to wallow oneself to problems. Everytime i feel like drowning because of too much problems and Im on the edge of giving up, this word of wisdom pops out of nowhere and really helps me to feel relieve and I just laugh at my silliness of thinking to give up. It does work on me. Im so happy now that I have time to visit again mylot after such a long time because of my oh so busy schedule.
