Do you use microwave for cooking

I use the microwave for cooking certain things. I use it to warm them up or for defrosting things before i cook them in the oven. I won't cook certain things in it anymore even though it cooks it faster... i don't like the taste.. the microwave can make some foods taste not so good.

I only use the microwave to actually reheat food. Sometimes when I'm lazy i cook my eggs through the microwave, but I'm not an expert so the egg doesn't turn our perfectly well. Most of the time it explodes inside the microwave and splatters everywhere! Hmm I think that's about the only item I cook using the microwave.

I don't use my microwave very often, I probably only use it to thaw things out, I guess I am old fashioned...

I use my microwave for warming and cooking. I have a Sharp which has all kinds of settings to cook automatically, or thaw automatically by foods and weights. I bake potatoes, cook crisp bacon and other things in my microwave. I cooked butternut squash in it tonight.
