How old were you when you started wearing makeup?

I think I was 16 when I got my first lot of makeup.
I never wore make up often, only on special occassions.
I never wear make up at all anymore.

this is an interesting topic^^ well as far as i could remember, i started wearing make up when i was just little.. i mean before i went to school.. my mom used to put on some make up to my face because she loves to see me with make up on. i enjoyed it that sometimes, i would do it on my own but unfortunately at that age, i didn't know how to put on the make up properly that's why i looked like a clown! but now that i'm all grown up, i think i know how to use make up better than my mom!^^

I have never really started wearing makeup. I did wear a little bit of mascara when I was 13 years old. My sisters pushed me to do that though. I don't like wearing makeup myself. I don't think it looks good on me at all. I think it makes me look like a clown, LOL. I like my regualr complexion of skin on my face.

I just started wearing make up this year! I'm 19 years old about to turn 20 in july and i think it's just about time(^^,)

I started wearing make up when I was 14 although my mom didnt know until I was 16. I started wearing lipstick and eye shadow and later on started wearing foundation, eyeliner and mascara. Nowdays I never go anywhere without a lipstick and some eyeliner.
I'll bet your daughter looks real cute with all of her make up on!

Awww ... your little girl sounds so sweet. It sounds like your family is pretty tolerant! LOL! I wasn't allowed to wear make-up until I was sixteen. I did wear lipstick before that age but I had to sneak it on ... usually at school. Then my step-mother found out and gave me the "what for" riot act routine. I used to watch my real mother (I lost her when I was only 18) put her make-up on and watch her do her hair and get dressed. She was so beautiful ... she looked liked Marilyn Monroe. I loved her smile and laugh. She was very funny too! I still miss her very much.

i started wearing make up just recently..i am not a make up person and i am almost 24..i just started putting on some foundation, mascara and a lip gloss..somehow its a pretty thing to do and i'm loving it..

I cant remember the exact age but i know it was a young age..never really wore a full face full of makeup just eyeshadow and lipgloss.

13.but i wasn't allowed to wear very much.
just a bit of pencil eyeliner and a little shadow.
nothing really elaborate or gaudy.

If I remember right I was about 15 when I started wearing makeup. I didn't wear alot of it. I remember the first time I put on eyeshadow I had on so much I looked like a circus freak! It took some practice to make it look right.
