Do you wear shoes inside the house?

No - we generally don't allow shoes inside the home. It's just another measure to try to keep the floors and carpets as clean as possible. We have small kids, and an infant, so the cleaner the better. Plus I think it's just good housekeeping (when you have carpet). In foreign countries it is a sign of disrespect so just be mindful of whos home you are in :-)

I never wear shoes or slippers in the house. I don't even like to wear socks in the house. I run around barefoot as much as possible.

Hi Neriz, I was raised to take my shoes off when I come in the house. I did it for years. Now that I'm older I have to ware my good tennis shoes if I'm going to be up and about doing housework and stuff, other wise my feet, legs and back hurt. If I'm not going to be doing much, I'll just ware my house slippers during the day.

I like to go barefoot at home, as long as I am in my own home. In someone else's home I generally leave my shoes on. But as soon as I get home, the shoes are off. I have a couple of pairs of slippers, and lots of flipflops, but I prefer not to wear them. In the winter, I will wear socks in the house.

I am terrible with wearing shoes, socks or slippers in my home or in my own yard. I prefer to be barefoot as often as possible. Though I can't really say why this is, I have been known to go outside in the snow in my bare feet! The sad thing is, my children take after me. Keeping anything on their feet is a nightmare.

I hate shoes! When I walk in my door at home I take my shoes off first thing. When I get to work I take my shoes off under my desk. I don't like to wear shoes or slippers at all. And most of all hate socks. When I do wear shoes I try to wear my flip flops all the time. But during the winter I am stuck in boots or sneakers. Although last year I found a great pair of backless shoes I wore them with socks basically the whole winter. They were perfect to slip right off when I got to work. (I love my job)

No I do not wear shoes in the house, just slippers!
