We usually go to the high school and see the fireworks and then come home and do some spaklers and smaller fireworks. We live in a small complex in a condo and don't have space for a picnic or cookout. But we have fun!

I celebrate my birthday on the forth. Most of the time we stay home and really don't do much of anything. I guess we're just a lazy family. And I usually get my fireworks early at my family reunion this month.

Well, I was born the forth of July. I just watch the fireworks at my family reunion because we really don't go out for the forth to see fireworks.

We watch fireworks at one of the lakes that is near us, I can't wait to see my son's face when he sees his first fireworks because he absolutely loves lights, so it will be interesting to see his reaction.

If we get good spots it's beautiful but we can't really sit really close to the lake because 1 danger, 2 the good spots are usually taken. But that's ok, it's beautiful nonetheless :D

My dad's side of the family takes the 4th of July as a chance for a family reunion. My dad is 15th out of 16 children (14 are still living), so with all the aunts, uncles, and cousins, they all chip in to rent the biggest cabin this resort a couple hours away has. They rent it for about three days, and everyone has a chance to come up and see each other while enjoying cook outs, and the fireworks that the lake side resort displays.

For the forth of July it is always a toss up of either going camping, or hanging out at the local fairgrounds enjoy the small fair set up they have and in the evening enjoying the fireworks display.

My sons birthday is July 2nd so we usually celebrate them together with cake and ice cream and presents and fireworks. My husband usually has to work the next day so we don't stay out shooting the fireworks for very long.

We usually have a cookout with just my husband, daughter and I. We also like to go out and go swimming in our swimming pool also if it is nice weather out. We used to like to swim at night ans sit out on the deck also but since we work nights, we usually just cook out and swim for a little while.

We used to go to the free fireworks shows but now we buy the 'safe and sane' type fireworks and set them off at a park where it's legal.

We stay home and usually have family and friends over. We buy some fireworks and set them off when it gets dark. We live in an area that allows it and we have the space to do it safely, on our property. It's quite large and when we are done, we clean it up. There are also many professional fireworks displays in our area that we sometimes go to see, instead, but then the traffic to get back it hard.
