I have been to the Culbertson Manion, Scribner House, Locust Grove, Spring Mill, and Lincolns birhtplace. I have also been to Squire Boone Caverns. I love those old historical places. I know I have been to more than that but those are all that I can think of right now.

Hi dfollin, thanks for coming with this nice and simple topic. You don't kill my brain to response on your discussion. . I have one favorite all time place. It calls as old palace. It's true that place is old palace for hundreds of years. Now on the king moves to the new palace and they made the old palace as a public park where we could have some picnic, and jogging there. The scene is such beautiful and whenever I felt so bored or in blundered for sure I went to that place to ease my mind. now on, I'm moving to the other place and for sure I'm going to miss that a lot!!

I think it must have been the Alamo in Texas. Something about seeing the places in the walls were bullets were, and thinking about all the men fighting for something so important to them really makes it seem in the here and now for me. So I guess that is why it is my favorite, even though it isn't as grand as some of the other historical places I've been.

I've been to so many. The Jamestown historical site, near Williamsburg was good but being in London, with the Tower, Buckingham Palace, etc. was awesome. Of course, with us leaving for Italy, I am sure there will be more great stuff!

Isn't it always true we visit more away from home than at home? When I lived in NYC, I saw little of it, except for school trips. Now that I live elsewhere, I visit NYC more! Yes, when I was 17 I was on the United States Ballroom Formation team. We competed in the World Championships and went to England for that. It was a fabulous trip!! We are going to Italy this summer and I can't wait to see all the great places we are visiting.
