Where do you set your thermostat? Cool or cold?

In an effort to save money is your temp a bit higher than you would like it? We have ours set at 75. Just cool enough to make a difference when it is hot. What about you?

I think every little bit of energy saving is a good idea. But one must be able to sleep comfortably. Sleep is very important. I would support the idea of a different temperature at night as opposed to the day.

On the days that are in the 90's we have it set at about 65 and other days we adjust it according to the temperatures..

We keep our central air set at about 74 degrees. It depends on what kind of day I am having really. If it is a major hot flash day, I might keep it a couple of degrees cooler.

Ours is set to turn on at around 75 degrees also. Ours has the little lever you move up and down, so it is hard to get it on exactly 75, but somewhere close to that.

Since my house is a ranch style house, it doesn't take as much to heat or cool the place like some other homes... I usually try to keep the temp. of the house between 62f - 65f...
