Back To The 50's

Have a good time, it does sound like fun. We are going to miss you so much, whatever are we going to do. hehe

That sounds like a blast. Once a year they have something like that here at a place where high school kids used to hang out and they also play the oldies there. They already had it this year but we didn't get to go. When I worked at the race track we had them come a year or two and just parade around the track so every one could enjoy them. I have a cousin how has an old coupe all fixed up and painted bright orange. It was weird when the email come with your discussion called Back to the 50's because I am listening to oldies right now. Have fun and enjoy your company.

I love those things! I got to go to one a few years back, I was still married then and my FIL had (still does) a 57 T bird, he loves old cars. He drove it in a car show up and down the street while my husband and kids and MIL took turns riding with him and watching all the cars! That was a good time and I saw so many beautiful cars. Have fun, Grandpa!

Please do take your camera and get plenty of pics.. I am a child of the 50"s, late 50's" anyway and I do love the older cars.. We always have a street rod get together on every Saturday night here in Knoxville, it is fantastic.. It always brings back so many memories.. Have fun..

Have a great time and DON'T forget the camera (for some reason i just can't see that happening) i love old cars. They have a old car show over on St. Simon's Island every year and have all the cars from as far back as they go! Some of these cars are purely unbelievable!

Oh Grandpa, I so wish that I lived close enough to attend that festival! That looks like it will be truckloads of fun. My hubby and son would love to see those cars and I love any type of street festival. There is something so relaxing about strolling through a festival. There is usually all types of fun foods to eat...and the messier the better! Attending a festival is one time that I ditch the 'health food' mind set and my diet and just have fun with food! Ha! You have a great time and eat something messy and delicious for me!

Have a rockin' good time, Grandpa Bob, with your family at the car show. My town has one every Friday night during the summer. It's fun to stroll down the sidewalks lookin' at the cars and enjoying the music.
