Do you live where you can see rainbows often?

Simply put, I do not. In my 29 years on this earth I have only seen 2 rainbows in my corner of the world. The last one will forever be the most memorable though, because I got to see a double rainbow. I know those are rare. Pretty great stuff. I love it even more, because my boy got to see it too. We were both just so delighted with it.

We have a lot of little rain storms that go through Florida so we get to see a lot of rainbows. I saw an amazing one on the news last night. On the news, you're wondering? Yes, they had a memorial service for Tim Russert, former host of Meet the Press, in Washington D.C. and, afterwards a beautiful rainbow appeared over the White House. It was very fitting.

I see rainbows fairly often. I wish there was a way to capture them and keep them around longer. They are so pretty.

I'm from the Philippines and here in this part of the world, I do see a rainbow often; usually after every rain. But at present, I'm missing the rain and accompanying rainbow here in our place for a couple of reasons. One, it has been nearly a week since the last heavy downpour of rain due to the last typhoon 'Marce' which visited our country. So, now it's kind of humid here especially during the night time which I'm finding hard to have a good night's sleep. Also, I often forget to water our plants composed of flowering plants and fruits and vegetables because of my daily work. My spouse gets 'crazy' when I stay too much outside the house to water the plants. He thinks that I'm just flirting with other men. Well, I guess it's his insecurities playing with him, but I choose to not argue with him, because I know very well that it will just end up with our quarrels.
I usually make a wish whenever I see a rainbow. Do you do this? There is a popular local belief that when you make a wish with a rainbow, your wish will come true but some say that this is just nonesense; but I prefer to believe in this inspite of some distractions.

Which makes the next time you see it even more out of this world.
