What do you think of when you hear someone is a biker?

Yeah that is true a lot of bikers do wear leather jackets,sunglasses,and have a lot of tattoos,and yes that is the way the television portrays bikers,which is one of the reason they have such a bad reputation,and not all bikers fit that description,but a lot of them do,and bikers are just human,and should not be feared, and I agree they are just a group of people with a common interest,thanks for responding too me,have a good day,good luck in your life, and Happy Posting.

Yeah I know there are a lot of places who do not have the biker culture,and the bikers that are around like to show off their Harley Davidson's,and yeah I agree they are harmless,and some of them are very respected people in the community,and I bet they do love their bikes,but who can blame them,since some of them put a lot of time and money into their bikes,and yeah it sucks that television makes bikers look like the bad guy,and yeah I agree that they are just a harmless group of bike riders who have common interests and stick together.

Hi I was just about to respond to this discussion with a similar viewpoint to yours on this one and say that in our area we have bike groups that do so many charity runs for children in hospice care as one of them and of course the memorial runs for lost fellow bikers to help rovide for their families. They definitelt don't scare me and I have found the most fiercely looking ones with a large build are gentle giants in reality. Ellie:D

Thats cool that your a biker,and its nice to meet you, and I am sorry to hear that your knee might cause you to be a former biker,and thats cool that you belong to a group of friendly riders,and I agree not all bikers are mean and nasty,and I know there are bikers who do charity rides,and I remember Big Paul Franklin was on a charity ride when he got killed,and it is sad that bikers lose their lives in traffic accidents,and thats cool that you do not have a leather jacket,but do have a helmet,and yeah it is amazing how rude other vehicle drivers are,and it is stupid to say that motorcycles should not be on the road because they do not have four wheels,and when it comes to them being too loud,I have other cars and trucks that are louder than a motorcycle,thanks for responding,have a great day,good luck in your life,and Happy Posting.

Thats cool that you have an event there Friday the 13th,and that every bike within in a couple hundred miles comes,and thats cool that you and your husband are part of a bike club,and I agree the ones to be afraid of are the few who are criminals and drug dealers,but most of them are just middle aged people who like to ride,and thats cool that most of ya'll are not members of any of the recognized gangs,and that sucks that they would not serve you,because they do not serve bikers,and I agree I would not want to pick a fight with a biker with gang affiliation,thanks for responding,have a great day,good luck in your life,and Happy Posting.

yea, he's a good bloke...he is a very big lad, but he really is a gentle giant, his mates are all respectable people, some have high ranking jobs, i think it's their appearance that intimidates people but to be honest, none of them have a bad bone in their body....thankyou....
