So I'm reading this really cool book right now. It's called "How I write: Secrets of a Bestselling Author" by Janet Evanovich and with Ina Yalof. So far I am more than halfway finished with the book and I am enjoying everything that I have read. It tells you everything you need to know about being a writer. It tells you how to get published, how to get an agent, how you get paid, and the basics of what a writer needs to have in their story.
I really recommend this book to anyone who wants to be a writer and wants to get their work published. This book is written in the form of questions from the fans of Janet Evanovich and she tells us everything that we need to know. I added the picture of the cover so that you can all see.
Have any of you guys read this book before?

I read Stephen King's "On Writing" It is a very good manual on the subject. I must confess I haven't used it as much as I should have. Evanovich's book sounds interesting also.
I may see if the local library has that.

Yeah you should check it out. I had a lot of fun reading it because it was funny and engaging too. It wasn't like a boring textbook or anything like that but it was really entertaining. I finished reading it today while I was running on the treadmill.

I have not read, "How I write" Secrets of a Bestselling Author" by Janet Evanovich and Ina Yalof. She's one of my favorite authors! I must get hold of this book and read it. I bet it is an interesting read.
It sounds like the format of the book will make a good read. Plus, I have a friend who wrote a book last year and still doesn't have an agent! I might recommend he check it out also. Thanks for this information.

Good luck and don't worry too much about your grammar. Worry about it when you are revising and you could always give it to someone else in case you missed something. Hope you find and enjoy the book.

Yeah it's an awesome book. I always wondered how she did her job and how to get started and everything. I've really learned a lot from this book so far and I am glad that I also found it. I was also surprised because I have never heard of this book before either.
