When you cross the road

I use Pedestrian Crossing.
But if I am in a hurry or I see the traffic is not much.
I will just cross the road, looking both sides.
(Normally both sides, LOL)
I am still alive.

When I see children, I will use the Pedestrian Crossing too.

After all, we should be there example.

Often I just randomly cross the road and only look both ways. Here at home, since we're in a really rural area we don't have many rules about crossing the road and there really aren't any pedestrian crossing areas. Those are only in town and to be truthful no one follows them anyway in town. And when I'm at college, there seems to be no rules about crossing the streets. Ther eare cross walks but when you're rushing to get to class sometimes theres no time to find a cross walk.

I use the pedestrian crossing when there is one close to me. But in any case I would like at both the sides of the road before crossing it.

The funny thing is due to the habit of doing I most often land up looking at both the sides of the road even in a one way.

I live in a Village-the nearest ped xing is 10 miles away in town,and I live right across the road from a kids playpark! But while I was growing up,there were various road safety initiatives for getting across the road safely,when there wasn't a crossing nearby-One being "The Green Cross Code", Fronted By Dave Prowse in a Superhero Costume (He was the Guy in "Star Wars'" Darth Vader Costume,while James Earl Jones Provided the Voice!)When I do have to cross the road,I don't do random..You check for traffic before you set out,and keep checking all the way across..When I'm driving,it BUGS Me seeing people in the road,making a leisurely beeline across,and they NEVER look around! I want to blow the horn to alert them I'm there,but at the same time don't want to wake them up that they'll stop like a deer in the headlights either!

hey snakequeen While crossing the roads I look at both sides of the road whether alone or in group. While walking I use pedestrian as it is safest way to walk on the road.

Before I cross the road, I look at everything I can possibly look at, as far as I can see, to make sure that it will be safe to cross.

I always look at both sides.

If you are referring to those walks that go up and over the street, there is no such thing in our city. There is a marked pedestrian crossing at the corner of each block on a principal street. Even though I am in the crosswalk, I find it necessary to watch for cars who refuse to even slow down for pedestrians.

I always make it a point to look at both sides of the road, left and right, even if I'm using pedestrian crossing. I am so paranoid about crossing the street.
