I, myself, am a very emotional person. I have a hard time keeping my emotions reigned in, and they sometimes get in my way. However, I know women who are not incredibly emotional, and men who are. I don't think it is fair to make blanket statements about women being emotional, especially when people try to say that women should not be allowed to hold positions of power, because they are run by their emotions.

In this country, males are trained from birth not to show emotion." Suck it up and take it like a man. Don't be a sissy." are just a couple of phrases that fathers and big brothers use to toughen up boys. Th is seems to be changing some, but I have not decided whether that is good or bad.

I agree that some women are very emotional, but I also feel that some women are not emotional at all. Men can also be very emotional, but this is not seen as often. Men are afraid to be emotional because of society. Have a Great day!

hi snakequeen . rightly so and generally true. you will find great exceptions to the rule.being a man still i value emotions and they have a real and meaningful role to play in our daily life. but only emotions do not make you complete. all your actions warrant merit over emotions dear..
