Do you clean when you're angry or upset?

Oh yeah, I become real motivated when I'm mad. I find myself doing things I hate to do just so I can do something to work off that angry energy. Better than killing someone, I suppose....lol. I think it's just a matter of needing to do something and no matter how clean my place is it can always be cleaner.

I used to be like that.
I would get angry and go through the house cleaning like a whirlwind.

Now when I am angry I stop cleaning.
I have been angry for a few weeks now.
So am out on strike.

My man starts a job and cannot finish it before he moves on to another.
We tiled our computer room, which is a very large room.
I am waiting on him to help me move some of the heavier furntiure back in here.
In the meantime it is in different rooms in the house.
So I am on strike until he pulls his finger out.

i am. cleaning has always been my best therapy when i was upset about anything. it'a good way to worl off your stress.

I think that cleaning is very therapeutic and I often clean too to controll my emotions. Also when I am wound up about something I just pick a room to do and do it. I also put the music on full blast so that I can just get it all out of my system.

No,when I'm angry, i do not let it get in the way of what i am doing or have to do especially if it's something i am responsible for. When i'm angry I let it out at whatever I am angry with or at by voiving out what i am angry about. I do not keep it inside since it's not healthy and I don't control my anger. It's best to let it out instead of controlling it but it is still there simmering inside. After I voice out my anger, I can then go on with whatevcer it is I am suppose to do because I don't dwell on my anger anymore having expressed my feelings to those concerned and what they should do about it. If it's related to work, muchless do I hold on to the anger since I have told them to do what should be done.And they know what are the consequences if they again fail to measure up.

I do that, too. I will either clean something or go outside (weather permitting) and work in my garden. It's a great way to blow off steam and be productive in the process!

Gardening is my passion and I always feel better after doing some gardening, no matter what emotion I'm feeling. It's great therapy. But cleaning the house is also an extremely good way to help you get mentally focused and able to reason things out in your mind.

Just sitting and fuming does no good and can affect your health! I'll take the physical road to emotional stability every time!

I think I do the same. I mean I am not quite sure yet but I have moments when I feel angry and I just have to clean everything. I think I just did it yesterday. I cleaned our computer. I am angry with my boyfriend. I dont know. He seemed to forget me. He doesnt visit me anymore here at home. I dont want to put any meaning on it but I just cant help it.

Anyway, (it seemed that I am out of the topic, lol, sorry)I cleaned our computer and here it is its shining white especially the keyboard, lol. I feel like I am ashamed in using it, lol.

Now, don't take it the wrong way, but I wish I had a similar mechanism to deal with my anger. In fact if I cleaned every time I'm angry or irritated my apartment would be spotless. Ah, the joys of the stressful job.
Anyway.
I don't clean when I'm angry. Instead I eat. Preferably junk food. It's not very healthy, but it makes me feel better. On the other hand, I wish I cleaned, but my hatered for cleaning cannot be overcome

Thats exactly how I am!LOL I like to clean too. And when Im upset or angry about something I just throw myself into something around the house. I think it works well.
