From Harry Potter to real Science? You think this is possible?

Graeme Milton and colleagues have come up with a theory for how small objects could become invisible. Scientists set sights on invisibility cloaks. Models used to show how a superlens could make small objects seem to disappear Team's simulations work in theory but have not been experimentally confirmed Another group of scientists has made a device that can cloak microwaves Device also could be used to minimize interference in cell phone reception. http://www.cnn.com/2008/TECH/07/01/invisible.cloak/index.html

Wow that would be amazing. Just think it we could use somehting like that on everyday things at home. We could hide our valuables and hide things we don't want others to view. Just think how hard it would be for a thief then, And just think if we get vistors unexpected we could hide all the junk and clutter we don't want them to see. Of course cheating husbands and wives could then hide when one or the other came home expected. But then atleast David Copperfield won't be the only thing to make something disapear.

I had, interestingly enough, recently red up on a superlens on Wikipedia. It was an interesting concept and a slightly dramatized article about invisibility. Still, interesting reading that expands the mind.

well yeah many experiments have been conducted in this field and it has been stated that small objects can be made invisible...but it will take more time for everything to be set up perfectly so there wont be any problems!

I think that it is entirely possible. Who knows. With the advances that science is making everyday it is only a matter of time before just about anything is possible.
