You would have laughed at me so hard!  

I took my 12 year old grand-daughter and 9 year old grandson to town today and of course they both got to buy something. My grandson got an airplane that you pump up with an air pump. Well, we get home and he gets it all pumped up and it is so neat! I told him to pump it up again and open the sliding glass door and let it loose outside. Well, of course, he listened to me. He let it go and oops! up on the roof it went! He went outside and came back in and said, "Oh NO, MeeMee! It went on the top of the house." I said oh it couldn't have I saw it go to the left. Well, it did go to the left but took a turn and landed on top of the house. I went out side with him and we surveyed the situation and I stand there and think. I finally said well, let's hope for a hard wind. Well, that really didn't satisfy him at all. I thought some more and decided to back our UTV Ranger up to the house where it was. My grandson drove the golf cart way out so he could see where it was and guide me to where I needed to back the Ranger's dumpbed so it would be even with the airplane. Then..........I get out fo the Ranger and now I cannot figure out how this 54 year old woman can get into the dump bed. LOL Finally I get a good stand on the trailer hitch and boost myself up in the bed on all fours and stand up, praying all the time I don't lose my balance and "kerplunk" out of that thing. I then saw a water hose that we had cut off to use to siphon our fish aquarium and had my grandson to give that to me. Well, between praying that I don't send the metal end of the water hose through my kitchen window on one side and my siding glass door on the other side, I give it a big cowboy lasso swing and up on the roof it goes but I missed the airplane. My grandson was coaching me from the golf cart in the yard. So, I pull the hose down and give it another try, then another, then another, and my grandson yell, "MeeMee! You were so close!" So I ask him which way to go and give it another try. WooHoo I get it on top of it and he tells me to pull the hose straight down. So I follow his directions and down comes the pump part but no wings! They were still up on the roof. So I have to give another cowboy lasso swing and yell out "Yee Haw!! It lands on the wings and my grandson yells be careful MeeMee and pull it straight down! So I try and no success so one more try and Praise the Lord! Down comes the wings! The here is this old woman that has to get out of the dumpbed so I decide rather than trying to climb over the tailgate I'll go through the wire posts behind the seat of the Ranger. I had to get on my knees and start through with my head and arms and then push on through with my hands and elbows on the front seat and my bottom sticking up through the hold. Meanwhile, my grandson is laughing at me but I am determined I can do it. I continue to squiggle on through the hole and get one leg through and then the other. Then I am out! I pull the Ranger back up where it belongs and project completed! It had to look so funny but we "gotter done". Just wanted to share a funny in my day. God bless you!
