does a single mom have a chance to get married?

hi witchsbrew!!That's the things i thought of so..that i might get a guy who loves me but not my kid.We cannot handle what's in his mind,and i'm afraid that my kid would suffer that.Well,i'm not forcing it to happen but now i'm taking my time for that to happen.For you maybe it's a not meant to be thing.We can't tell our future maybe tomorrow or next week or maybe next year it'll come to our hearts and knock on us.thanks for your response.

thanks chrysz!!that's a very inspiring story.but as a catholic we need to be blessed by our parents and God.But you still have a point that we can't get assurance when we get married.but i think its the beginning of a foundation to start a whole new family.Hope that my past wont be an issue if ever i would meet someone who will love me and also my daughter.Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me.

I am a not a Catholic but a Christian (a Protestant), I know it would be better if we will be blessed by the church but I guess its the relationship that matters and putting God in the center of your relationship rather than having a one-day wedding and have a daily fight. Anyways, I also dream of having a wedding someday and I do hope my marriage life would be as smooth sailing like our life now that we are not married. According to the Family Code anyway, a marriage license is no longer an essential of marriage once you've been living together for 7 years.
