 Has anyone here ever wrote for triond.com? If so do you know how the site works? How much have you been paid?

My understanding is that the amount of content, and the variety determines what you can earn...

Shared Reviews is a nice site, but there revenues have gone done so they are not paying their reviewers much anymore.Brijta is also a site to check out. They pay for abstracts of articles.

| patgalca (5242) | 4 months ago |  Triond accepts just about anything. If it's "not good enough" it is because it is probably grammatically incorrect. I received a rejection where they told me the grammar wasn't very good. I fixed it up, submitted it again and they accepted it.

I'm involved with writing on Associated Content and Helium as well. I'll probably be joining a few more writing sites to add to a writing portfolio portion of my overall portfolio. | |

| babostwick (1562) | 4 months ago | Helium is doing a Summer Reward-a-thon and is adding 1,000 new topics. You have to make about $25 to reach payment and that can take time. Of course, there's also the Marketplace to see if you can make anything. Money gets sent via PayPal. Maybe if you're lucky, someone could buy one of your articles that's not a Marketplace one.
Associated Content does pay for articles upfront but that's hit or miss. You have to make at least $1.50 from what I've seen in order to receive a payment. That gets sent via PayPal.
At Triond, you have to make at least 50 cents to receive it via PayPal. For a check, I believe it's something around $50.
I don't know if I can answer if it would be worth it to you but it's not bad and it gets you recognition if nothing else to build for the future I suppose. I hope that helps. | |

| 6. SydneyHazelton (898) | 4 months ago |  I have written for Triond since Jan 2008 and have been paid every month since Mar (first payout). You get paid for page views on your articles, and the ads that appeared in your article page.
It takes time to build a nice pool of articles there, to earn a nice income. So you need to put in effort. I have written some articles, some are published right away, while others need some amendments. Yes, there are some that are rejected. Those rejected ones I submit to hubpages. So they still get published and continue to earn money for me.
The best thing about Triond is that you can still earn money from your articles, months and months down the road. I have some articles and have not promoted them often, but they still bring in some money. So I'm quite pleased with them. Good tag words get you more views as they help your work to come up when people use those words in search engines. Getting the most views is the goal to earning more money on Triond. I have a signature in my email with a few of my articles listed so people can check them out and hopefully check out others while they are there.
I get paid every month and every month my earnings go up even though I haven't submitted much lately. It's because the articles are continually being viewed. The more you contribute, obviously, the more views you will get and the more money you will make.
Other sites like Helium and Associated Content may pay more but they are pickier about what they will accept. Triond sends out monthly newsletters with tips on how to be successful and gives examples of very successful articles.
