Our garden is doing quite well. The plants are smaller than usual this year but seem to be bearing well. We are already on our second planting of onions and radishes. Our green beans are doing great and we have already picked about 24qts worth and they're still going strong and thats off of just one packet of seeds.

We don't do the bell peppers and tomato's from seed because we've never had any luck with those so we buy the plants and transplant them. Our daughter and son-in-law start theirs from seed in the house and then transplant but when we tried it a couple of times and they didn't make it.

That's cool. I think you might need a cold frame or small greenhouse to start things from seed easier. I dont know. I'm not a gardening expert. I saw a greenhouse from Costco for like 500.00. I really wish I could have gotten it.

Hi snowy, recently I had sown some leafy vegetable seeds and the baby plants have grown to the length of two inches or so. Besides the newly grown seedlings chili seem grow vigorously. I have got 7 long bean plants which supply us enough veggies for these few weeks.
I have planted some carrot plants but only two of them could grow successfully. I am growing them just for fun and I don’t think I can have any harvest in our tropical weather as they are temperate plants.
Anyway the sweet potato plants are growing robustly in certain area in my garden. We like to stir fry the baby leaves of sweet potato with shrimps paste and hot chopped chili. They are really yummy to eat together with plain rice.
