Ever wonder how we believe what the newspaper say but...

i don't want to comment about the bible. i just say about the newspaper. these pieces of papers are being published so that people may know what is happening. if you want to know more of the happenings you buy news papers. and when you buy, the business will grow...

This has been going on throughout time. People will listen to people rather than believing in Words that seemed to have come from someone they can't see. That's why Christians think different than non-Christians. We understand the Bible is the book to which we look (most of us) for strength to get through our daily tasks, faith when we can't see our way out of trouble, and trust when there is nobody that we can fully trust here on earth.

I do agree with you. There are a lot of people who would believe more what they read on the newspaper than what the Bible says. This is not only true for non-Christians. I think there are more and more people who lack faith in God. Sad but true...

The Bible is a book. A book is written by men. I believe what I see and feel in the world around me. I think of others and want what's best for us all. The Bible is a touchy subject, the people who follow it, are freaking out about the potential for women to be teaching those words....why is that? Our message is given to us every day, whether we choose to listen to it or not is another story.

Never really thought about it, but you have made a great point that I think we should all take into consideration.
