Low energy... Lethargic...   

I know what you mean. Much as I want to get the proper amount of sleep, some times, it is just impossible.
But when I do get the chance, I try to.

I know of some drinks that will cause heart palpitations after drinking them. Like a huge amounts of extra concentrated expresso mixed with a huge quantities of green tea. Not only did it caused my heart to palpatate, it made me realy cranky as well!

I dunno about smiles that could help perk me up.
I tried once to smile just thinking happy thoughts during a meeting with some of my top management bosses.
I was so relaxed thinking happy thoughts that I actually fell a sleep during the meeting. WITH A BIG GRIN on my face too!

Sigh... that was, well, you can guess, the worst impression I ever left on my bosses. One thing for sure, when ever they see me, they will be chuckling cos of the incident in the meeting. I became infamous over night in the office.

I tried those before. It is only good for a few minutes after the "work out". Once you settle down, you will just turn to automatic sleep mode.

The other technique I learnt is to do some simple stretching exercises. Well, there was this time where I was so tired after so many days of late night work, I did some stretching to keep me a wake.
And I stretched. And I stretched. And I stretched some more. SO much so, I actually pulled a muscle!
Luckily I was in my cubicle and no one saw. I hurts like crap for the next few days. The pain sure kept me a wake the rest of the day. Including the few after. And all the nights in-between too!

So which Red Bull are you drinking?
The newest sugarless ones, in the light blue can?
Or the regular one in the dark blue cans?
Or is it the thai version, in the short and broader golden colored cans?

i drink the thai version only...
have never tried the rest...

The Thai version is, well, SWEET!
Crazy sweet if you ask me.
It is like drinking syrup!

If I have to choose, I will rather pay a little more to drink the new sugarless one.
It comes in a light blue, tall, skinny can. Best when drunk chilled!

Well, like I mentioned in the first post. Red Bull came up with a new version. The sugarless one in a light blue can.
It is much much better than the previous few versions!
And very good when served really chilled!

You should try it some time!

actually the sugarless one is not exactly a new thing. it's just they redo the packaging. i've tried all the versions of red bull. still like the original one best. maybe it's got to do with the nostalgia. maybe it's just the sugar high it gives me. ;p

Well, I find the regular ones too sweet for my liking.
I am liking the new sugarless ones.
Especially when it is chilled!

So far it is working for me.

Well, regular coffee will not work for me.
And when I get too much of the stronger espresso, I get cranky!
So much so, I get temperamental. And my wife will go nuts on me for being so cranky!

Oh? You get energy peaks and lows with your monthly cycle as well?
That is something I have never heard of.

What do you mean by "I wish they had those energy drinks back then. They might have helped."?
