Who's your favorite cartoon character?

I did enjoy Popeye cartoons when I was a kid. But my favorite cartoon show of all time is Looney Tunes featuring Bugs Bunny. Even if I've seen the same episodes for more than fifty times already, I still love watching them. In fact, I've memorized some of their lines already like, "Yipee! Yip, Yip, Yehey! No more books. No more teachers, dirty looks..." Does this sound familiar to you?
Anyway, it's quite unfortunate that I don't get to watch cartoons that much anymore. I must admit that I'm preoccupied with other things now that I'm already an adult. I haven't such our cable listings if these cartoons are still being shown on tv. And I'm not sure if they have made these into movies before.
I've been married for more than five years now. However, eventhough I'm already "big" or too big for watching cartoons, I still get to watch them sometimes. We have a daughter who is turning three this year and most of the time, she prefers watching Tom and Jerry (just like you do), Wonderpets, Blue's Clues, Dora the Explorer, Go Diego Go, and other cartoons.
Being a mom, I have to watch with her for parental guidance if my schedules permit me to. During weekends, my husband loves watching anime particularly Dragon Ball Z, and me and our daughter watch with him. He also watches Baki the Grappler but I'm not so engrossed with this show as I see violence in them.
I also have heard older generations comment that cartoons are only for children, but I don't mind. I believe that somehow, educational cartoons bring out the children in us sometimes. It tells us that life is wonderful and is worth living. It also urges us to believe in the simplicity and beauty of the world. It teaches us the values of protecting our Mother Earth, too.

I love Tom and Jerry as well! lol. Their really funny. But now, I often watch Ghost Fighter or Yuyu Hakusho on youtube...I don't really have time to watch tv anymore...and I'm not even sure if its shown on tv.

Anyway, I'm really crazy for Ghost fighter! really love that show...its my favorite anime ever.

yeah tom and Jerry are the all time favorite's of me but currently iam watching dragon ball z and naruto. In my childhood days they used to be good cartoons in cartoon network but nowadays its all crap

My favorite cartoon character is Batman. I watch lot of other animes also and my other favorites are Dexter, Tom &
Jerry, Dragon Ball Z, The Mask etc.....

its great that you still enjoy watching cartoons. even i love watching carttons. mine favourite is Tom and jerry. even i love to see the repeat episodes of the show again and again. i have learnt a few episodes by heart but still see it again and again. i think it brings the child in you and that what makes me watch it again and again.

Pooh is my favorite:) its just that pooh is so adorable and stuff that I recieved and bought were Wennie the Pooh, I remember the first gift my husband give me when we are still sweetheart was a huge pooh bear stuff toy:) I have a pillow, bedsheet and bedroom set with pooh bear on it.. hehe kinda unleashing the kid part in me when I sleep on it:)

Only cartoon I used to watch everyday as a kid was Dragon ball z..I also watch the simpsons and family guy every now and then

I love watching cartoons till now,whenever I get time I sit beside my niece to see them. My favorite is Micky mouse and Donald Duck's series,I also like tom and jerry. Still it makes me laugh.

I like Popeye. He's been around since the 30's, at least, and while he's not as funny as Tom and Jerry, he's interesting. As a child, I laughed at and with him. As an adult, I appreciate the subtle sexual overtones and jokes that go over the heads of children.

There are so many anime cartoons now that I like. I like all the characters in One Piece. i also like the atachinchin cartoons which is about a mother and her kids.
