Don't you just hate it....

Same here.That's why every time my husband would tell me he has found a nice place and it's much cheaper.....i would say no.It's more hard on my side.Why?He goes out for work.I am left with a 16 year old who happens to be a bit lazy and 2 naughty kids.....i don't know when will i ever finish packing or unpacking a single box.Unless he skip work.

I have moved several times, the part I dislike the most is packing the kitchen. The rest of the packing isn't too bad. I don't mind the unpacking at all, because I like decorating and deciding just where I want things to go. Normally if I have a chance to, I draw out the basic floor plan and figure where the large pieces of furniture will go, which makes the move easier if you know ahead of time where the large pieces will be going. Although I normally end up moving furniture around after a while if I see a better layout that is more practical or might look better. I have always looked at moving as an adventure, lol. We will be moving next year, we are in the process of buying a house, actually it's just next door, but has a much bigger yard for our dog, and a pool, and we will be doing a lot of remodeling from minor things to major, such as new flooring, a new remodeled bathroom, etc. We want to do all of that before we move in, then we won't have to try to move furniture out of the way while we remodel.

When my family moved to other place, it's hard. Not to mention the things to pack. Meeting new neighbors. Meeting new friends. I glad that when it happened i'm still young. Now where not moving anymore. And i'm enjoying it here in our permament place. Why don't you just stay in one place?

I've only had one big move, the first time I moved was when I got married, only had clothing and other little personal items to move. 2nd time is when I left my husband, I did not move any large items, just clothing for me and my son, his toys, and personal items. 3rd time was the big move, still did not move furniture, only bedroom furniture, but over the years all the stuff I had accumulated was hugh.

I know how you feel about that, because I have been moved in 2 years for 3 times, packing and unpacking is sucks as you say, I hate it, I wonder when we can settle down in such home and have a peaceful life.

I despise moving too. It is such a hassle.
