Is it right for a doctor to prescribe contraceptives to girls aged under 16, without their parents' knowledge, in certain rare cases. Many mature girls who run away from home were living with their boyfriends are in urgent need of contraceptives to safeguard themselves. If they don't have birth control at 16,there will be a lot more unwanted pregnancies.

i don't agree with that..its harmful for girls underage taking contraceptives..first, their body is not mature enough to take it..so when they step to their right age there will be a complication that may exist..i know because somehow this is what happen to me..i took pills when i was 17 because i don't wanna get pregnant that soon and that young though i live with my partner already...due to this, i'm suffering of cervical cancer right now because my body is not mature enough to manage the pills..somehow i say its body abuse..
