My son is Two and 3 Months

I have a grandson who turned two in February and he only recently started putting two and three words together into sentences. Until then he would just identify things that he knew the words for. He did that for a very long time and I was wondering if he would ever start to actually talk but, according to what I've read, kids don't start forming sentences until sometime between the age of two and three. Remember, too, that kids develop different skills at different ages and every one is unique. I remember when my oldest daughter was a baby, I had a friend who's baby was around the same age and, if she started doing something before Jen did, I would worry. Then Jen would start doing something before Chrissy and I'd feel better.

..there are those whom psychologists called latebloomers wherein, this children develop later than their age.. we just need to continue guiding them.. eventually, as they grow older, they will soon develop and bloom..

my daughter is just past one and she has a very good vocabulary. although she cant quite say somethings, we get what she is saying. but my question to you is- have you tried sign language? i started my daughter on it when she was very little like three months old and i think that has helped her to express what she wants then getting frusterated and screaming. you should try it. there are free sites to learn from and maybe that will help with the screaming.

I have a just turning 4 year old whom still longates his s and mumbles most of his words. He will say one word out of the sentence. I started sitting down and helping him with the words he came a little way but he is going slow. He is starting head start this year and went to the school test and my wife asked about it and she said it is nothing to be worried about. Hope this helps you.

My son barely talked until he was 3 years old. He would say things before then, but you really could not understand him. He is 8 now and he still has trouble with some words. My daughter on the other hand is 17 months old. She just this past week started trying to put 2 words together.
