i used to LOVE bubble bath but now if i use it a lot i will get infections (fem kind) but i miss them
is there any kind that might not cause it? what do you think is in it that is setting my ph balance off? would an oatmeal type bath cause anything? i would rather get feedback than test it out and be miserable

if you find that bubble bath irritates your urinary tract and ladygarden, you should track down lush and try bath ballistics. they are bicarb fizzing bath bombs, and much gentler on sensitive bits that bubble baths which are full of foaming agents which some people find too harsh.
they were invented for the head of the companys son who was prone to urine infections from bubble bath, so he could have something that smelt nice without irritating him.

I am allergic to bubble baths and blow up like a balloon. But i can use these balls that you put in water and i fizzes and releases oils into the water. Its the closes i can get.

You can still take bubble baths just only once an awhile. You need to stick with brands that do not have a strong scent or coloration to them. A brand like Calgon should be okay. You may want to try out the ones made for sensitive skin.

I can tell you one thing, I myself have experienced rashes and irritations taking certain types of bubble baths and bath oils. It can be a real problem. I have heard about oatmeal baths, nothing too unfavorable. Have you ever considered epsom salt?
I think that could be soothing. I think that some people just have more sensitive skin than others and I might be one of them. Good luck.

I invented such a formula -- http://users.bestweb.net/~robgood/lather.html for details. The problem is not infections or pH imbalance, but simple irritancy causing in certain individuals a chemical (not infectious) vulvitis, vaginitis, or urethritis. I just hit on a formula that makes a very dense foam when splashed in water, but doesn't cause this type of irritation even in those most sensitive.
