Who keeps your House Clean????

At my house, everyone picks up after themselves lol. My brothers are 16 and 18, so this may be easier for me than for someone with small children. I empty the dishwasher every evening when I get home from work - when someone uses a dish, it goes in the dishwasher, counters are wiped off everytime you make something in the kitchen, etc. A great rule at my house that applies to everyone: If you see something that needs to be done, take a minute and do it. Don't leave it for mom to do on the weekend. It really is a matter of cleaning as you go and takes the entire family. Something else we did: We have 2 large and 2 small dogs that pretty much had the run of the house. When we bought our new house we built a privacy fence for their safety. The two dogs stay outside except for bad/cold whether (then they are confined to the game room), and the 2 small ones stay outside during the day. You would not BELIEVE the difference this makes in keeping things clean.

Normally I would clean the house like mop the floor, wash the bathroom, change the curtains....my husband will help me in hanging the laundry and doing the dishes.

For me I manage it myself mostly. I like to be self dependent in every respect. Though my mother helps a lot in cleaning.

I am the one who keeps my house clean. I playfully wish I had a maid sometimes when I don't feel like cleaning, but overall, I have no problem cleaning up after my own mess. I wouldn't feel comfortable having someone picking up after me and all that. It may be great, but since I wasn't raised that way then I don't see the need.

My husband and I share the duty. More than often he does more than me. I like the outside work more.

I have to say that would be me. I am generally the one who keeps the house clean on a regular basis. It is not always easy, however. I do try. I really don't mind too much. I am a stay at home mother. I feel it is important to keep things clean and tidy.
