do you like the ones that sound like someone really needs help and advice. the ones about news stories they have heard. about tv shows. about what is your favorite ice cream etc. rants and raves. what type do you look for when you come on myot. i presonally like the ones that people are really asking questions and things like that. i see so many that are just what time did you go to bed? what is your favorite color etc. i hate those. i like ones that have real thought to them.

I kind of look at ones similar to what you respond to as well. And I also hate those stupid ones that don't really have thought, they torture us to get a few pennies for posting it :P. I like any topic that I can put my pure insight into.

I like all kinds of discussions. It all depends on what type of mood I am in also that day as to which ones I like the most or catches my eye. I will respond to all of my friends if I have some valuable input for them. I have to pass some of the discussions by that I cannot relate to though. For the most part, i enjoy all of the discussions my friends make.

You have much more experience on mylot than I do, which affects my opinion. I like helping people the most, if I can think of a good response. Those are the most rewarding, especially if the person comments on my post. I agree with you about the one sentence questions which really aren't interesting at all. Maybe because of the difference in our experiences, I still answer some of those discussions - But only if I have a story to relate, making the comment worth something more. I don't respond to TV show discussions because I don't watch TV. I do comment on news stories once in awhile if I am interested in the topic. I'm trying to comment on news topics more, but this world is so messed up, I get tired reading about all the negative things in our society. It seems nothing new is ever said, I would like to see an article about physics, but somehow, I don't think many people are interested!

I only respond to the ones that make me think. If I don't have anything to say on a subject, I don't say it.

I have no preference. The type of conversation I prefer all depeds on my mood. I like diferent things at differet times, and for diferent reasons. Also, certain people seem to have their niehes. Some on here post news stories with really good discussions, others on here like certain things that I like, and others are asking for adice that I an easily give because o my own experiences.
