29 minute into a new job and police car gets smashed into!!

A police officer's first on the job didnt go as smoothly as he would have liked. Less than half an hour into the shift his squad car was wrecked in a crash.
The police officer was inside his house when someone hit his new squad car which was parked outside. The driver was tested positive for drugs was arrested and taken to hospital.
The police officer was sworn in last week. He was supposed to work the morning shift Monday. Instead, he spent the morning filling out paperwork at the police station. The force of the crash bent the rear axle of the squad car.
The car can be repaired but the cost is unknown.

I supposed facing with unknown and uncertainties is what a Police Officer is going to face on his daily job.
I think it is good because he got more experience per se on just first day of his job. Well, just another way of looking at it.

wow for a superstitious person that might be a bad sign lol. i think i would be thinking twice about being a police officer if that happened to me on my first day. I wonder what his comments about it were. I bet he's glad he had to fill out all that paperwork.
