Rapture

No, I don't believe the rapture is imminent because there is no way of predicting the event. There have been signs for hundreds of years so I don't pay much attention to the predictions, I just try to behave just incase.

None of us can say when it will be, because God's day/year is not the same as we know it here on earth.

I do believe that we are living prophecy, though. The way the world is today, I honestly want Jesus to hurry up and get here.

I was under the impression the rapture was supposed to have happened a little after 70AD, according to most interpretations of Matthew 24. I think you missed the last bus home by some margin.

It Could be anytime...we'll never know when... I am a born-again christian and I surely hope that I will be - raptured!

Yes, I believe that the generation that saw the formation of the country of Israel will live to see the rapture.

The Bible clearly says that, nobody knows the exact time or day. It's in Matthew 28. Jesus himself said that only the Father knows the exact time. Well, all we have to do is to continue living our God-serving-life, and let God unfold all His mysteries..

I know what you mean because life is pretty hectic right now. I wonder what is next because in the Bible it says a person would not want to live in those end times because they will be so awful. It's scary to imagine. Although I think we are near I think the calling only God knows.

I think about that sometimes. I am not sure. There are so many signs, yet there have always been signs. We just never know. He will come in the blink of an eye. His ways are not our ways and His thoughts aren't thoughts. One day for God can be like a thousand years in our eyes. We just have to try our best to live our lives according to His word and repent so that we are ready when He comes.

The signs of the time seem to be pointing toward the soon coming of the Lord. Prophesy in the Bible is being fulfilled. Things happening all over the earth seem to point to that very event. But the main thing is for the Christian to live the life daily that is pleasing to the Lord. None of us know the date the Lord will return. So we must be watchful, waiting for his return any day. He will come in the twinkling of an eye and that is very quick! That means we must live as close to Him as possible.

No, I doubt if it will be in our lives. Think about the statistical odds. Think of how many days have gone by since Christ ascended into heaven. Then look at how many days (approximately) you'll be alive. You'll find that there's not a lot of chance for it. BUT, only God knows the time.
