I believe that Spiritual Warfare is inevitable. The Bible tells us that Satan is like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. He is constantly trying to get us to fall as a Christian. I believe that he is working over time now because he knows that his time is getting shorter and he wants to take as many with him as he can when he is thrown into the lake of fire.

I'm going to agree with Tessah on this subject cristine. Everybody who considers themselves spiritual deals with spiritual warfare of some kind. Not only is it something we deal with in Christianity, but it's something each and every person will deal with, no matter what their faith or belief. If we intend on growing spiritually, we will come in contact with spiritual warfare.

Spiritual warfare? If someone is warring with people over their opinion of God, then in my book they probably aren't very good christians to begin with. 'Thou shalt not kill, and thou shalt not bear false witness against your neighbor' about says it all. Spiritual warfare is like the words 'friendly fire', an absolute mix-up of meanings. If you are spiritual, then you do not commit warfare against your neighbor (and yes, words too are a weapon), as in friendly fire, which isn't friendly, yet still a miscarriage that isn't right, nor fair, either. Of course that's just my opinion. It's well known that there have been more religious warring than any other kind in the world. So senseless, and such a contradiction of the good word in the good book! Inevitable...no.

regardless of the specific faith and religion you practice.. ultimately the more spiritualistic and enlightened you become.. that which goals to destroy anything that is good and pure.. will take more notice, setting you onto a collision course. while not all experience this you call spiritual warfare.. its quite more common than most would like to beleive.
