bought from various places. One set was from a rummage sale. The bottom of the mold is there, but the top and the stick parts were missing. Another one I bought at a party. I think it may have been Tupperware. The last set, I bought at the dollar store. Some of the juices I've gotten from the dollar store or at regular stores for half price or some kind of sale. Popcycles cost about a dollar in the stores, but with cheap juice, I can make them for pennies each. The small molds, I would have to eat three or four to equal one in a store, but even then, it's still way cheaper than the stores. It's about 25 cents to 50 cents for the same amount of popcycle and sometimes I can even make them for 10 cents or 15 cents. So do you make your own popcycles? Do you use different kinds of juices on sale, too? Where did you get your molds from? I tried making molds from yogurt containers one time, but they didn't work out very well. But that was before the more sturdy covers, they used to be cardboard.

I will usually make some for my kids out of Kool Aid which is pretty cheap too.Or if I can find cheap juice then I will use that. There is hardly anything cheap anymore so you have to do whatt you can to save.

Exactly, "There is hardly anything cheap anymore so you have to do what you can to save." Thanks and take care.

Years ago I made popsickles for our kids. I bought a set of Tupperware holders from the grocery store. Usually I made them with any sort of canned fruit juice such as Hi-C or orange juice. I also made some with soda but it wasn't as good. Our kids use to invite all the neighborhood kids over for popsickles. Eventually I lost some of the holders because the kids took them outside. It was a fun time.

Must have been fun. This summer is so humid that popsickles are our saviers from the heat.! The Tuooerware ones work well, Really easy to loose the tops. We have to really work at keeping track of the tops! Thanks and take care!

When our kids were little, we used to make popcicles for them too. I'd use juice or koolaid. It was quick and easy to do for them. I don't remember where I got the mold, but I think it was Walmart.

I didn't know Walmart had molds. I like juice, I just tried chocolate milk today, may or may not work. Thanks and take care.

We used to do that with Kool-Aid when I was a kid. My mom had molds and gave them to us. I don't have that great fondness for popsycles.

I wouldn't be crazy about them if they were kool-aide either. But we have some great juice ones and the creamcycles are great! I can't imagine a hot summer day without one. You had some given to you, that's terrific! Very frugal. Thanks and take care.
