My new dress is unique to US!!!!

more than once another girl was wearing the same dress as me. and that happened to a woman i was with. you don't like it but you live thru it.

Nope, I am too weird. LOL! If I wear a dress it will usually be a long denim skirt, frayed hem, and peasant type blouse, with mary janes. No one would be caught dead looking like ME! LOL! It's safe to say I am safe in not being copied, unless there is some ol hippie there. If someone did have the same dress I would think was a hoot and they would probably not be happy with me pointing it out to everyone. I'd say things like, "hey hey hey, great minds think alike" or "look ain't we twinkies?" or "hey you been raiding my closet gal?" or "you been following me to my favorite thrift shop again?"

LOL That's how it is in life, ut tha's not how it is with me. I rememer my graduation day when I bought a beautiful black dress that I absolutely loved. A girl that I really HATED wore the SAME FREAKING DRESS that day, and another girl (one of my est friends) wore a purple version of what we were wearing. I didn't let it get me upset, because that wouldn't have solved the problem.

That would be a no, then. If I saw anyone wearing the same clothes as me it wouldn't bother me, I'd just think they had good taste. Maybe I should get more 'girly' about it but it's too much effort.

I can't recall that happening, p1key, although it's possible that it has. The bad part of something like that happening is that each woman would inevitably compare how good the other woman looked in it, as opposed to herself. And no matter which way it went, it wouldn't be any fun. Lose/lose situation.

But I don't think there's really too much danger of that happening to me. I buy a lot of my clothes from online stores, both in the US and abroad. So I don't there's too big a chance of my seeing some other woman in St. Louis wearing my dress. Ha! And I don't dress like the normal St. Louis woman anyway. I lean more toward the ab normal side of things, as ya know. But it IS the prettier side....

That is indeed true..LOL! Anyway, I haven't tried this really in the party or dance and it was great for me..LOL!
But, I have seen several women who have the same tops as mine, when I was younger, I don't care about it really.

My cousin made me realized it when she told me that she doesn't want anymore to wear her top/blouse since she saw another lady who wears the same, I started to be influenced by her that time and until now, I also don't like if I saw someone who will have the same clothes as what I have!

my wife wears my dresses to functions all the time.

it really annoys me when she gets complimented when i know i look so much better in it.
