 my girlfriend had an eyeglasses but she no longer wears it because she is not comfortable with it. Actually she just bought the eyeglass when she consult to eye specialists and have her to buy an eyeglass and before that she just only felt headache.
and that's the time she decided to consult to the eye specialists.
By the how bad or good is your eyesight?

I only really use my glasses for distance, as I am typing right now my glasses are on my head. Anyway there are alot of styles of glasses out there these days and many of them are quite stylish.

| 5. shima2605 (5) | 4 weeks ago | didn't she try it on when she bought the glasses? when i first bought my glasses, i had the same problem but i guess you have to get used to the weight put on your nose. it's either that or get glasses with lighter frames and use the plactic lense. some people prefer contact lens compared to glasses.. but i prefer glasses - less the hassle of cleaning, putting and taking them out. | |

| 8. fortknox75 (474) | 4 weeks ago |  I don't wear eye glasses and too good for me that I still have 20-20 vision. So I don't need to wear one, as I don't think I would want wearing them either. Eye glasses most of the time makes the person look nerd or older than his/her age.
But I don't think it is good for your girl friend if she just stopped using her eye glasses because she doesn't like it. Because her eyesight might become worse when not corrected by glasses. If she doesn't like wearing glasses, maybe she could opt to wear contact lens instead.

At first I only needed them to read, but now I must wear them at all times.I too get headaches if I do not wear the glasses, because I must strain to see things. I too felt uncomfortable wearing glasses for a very long time, but after awhile I finally got used to them, I had no choice, if I want to see, I must wear them.I have no problem seeing far off, but can not see close up!!

Usually, when a person reach the age of 40 and above, eyesight abnormalities begins especially when the eyes are prone to stress. So, the best recourse is to have an eyeglass.
