Who cried at the end of the last episode of Doctor Who then?

I was so depressed with the finale of this season of Doctor Who. I never expected Donna to save the universe and end up never even remembering it. I can't wait to see what happens with the next season of Doctor Who though. I would really like to know who the next companion of the Doctor's will be.

I've never been a fan of any of the new series companions for Doctor Who. However, it was definitely a twist to end a companion's travels with the Doctor. But it does leave the door open for her to find a way to remember and not "burn up" from the vortex, especially if another high level being triggers it. But it does leave you wondering who the companion is going to be - male, female, human, alien? I can't wait for the Christmas 2008 episode. Then there are 3 or 4 nearly 2 hr each specials peppered throughout 2009 and then Christmas 2009 and then back to our regularly scheduled Doctor in 2010 with Stephen Moffet at the helm.

I don't have a TV, so there's no way I would have seen it.

I thought that was just so incredibly sad. Donna will not ever remember all the remarkable things she did with the Doctor. She saved the world for goodness sake! I think the Doctor was also very upset to have to do that. I think he really liked and depended on her. She was very different from Rose and Martha. They were very good together. She was independent and had some good ideas. I will miss her. Do you think it's possible it could be her destiny to be his companion again? I would love that!

I liked Donna, but honestly neither she nor Martha had the chemistry with him that Rose had. I was too much into how things worked out for Rose. Still, I'll miss Donna. She clashed just right with the Doctor.
