Pending Friend Request

I have alot of pending friend requests that I have made also over the last two years with Mylot. I requested some of them from a long time ago. I think they left Mylot and never came back. Some of them have been back and have not accepted me for some reason or other. I would also like to know why some of the active members dhave not accepted me too.

Hi friend. Have you checked their profile if they are still active? If so, then that was really disgusting. But there were people here who chooses only who to befriend. What I do to my pending friend requests is I give them only 1 week, if they won't accept my request, I automatically delete them.

I am sure they have a reasoning behind it, but unless you ask them personally you will never know. Some may want to check out your profile and see if you have anything in common before they accept. If they don't feel they will be posting to the same interest groups they may feel it best not to be friends. I would give it a time frame and if they don't accept delete it and maybe later on you can try it again and they will want to be friends.

I have 4 people in my pending friends. Some are from a month ago, and some 2 months.
I guess they just already have too many friends.
I was going to delete them too, but I decided to leave them there.
That way I can remember how to get to their page to see their discussions. That's why I wanted to be their friend in the first place because I was interested in their discussions.

there are some members here don't want to add more friends in their list. i also have some pending friend request but i don't bother if they don't want me to be their friends. just keep posting my friend and let's do what we suppose to do here. KEEP SMILING=> NEIL

That is a loo of pending friends request... i think some did not accept your invitation because they are no longer active here in mylot... that happened to me too... i had a pending friend request for two months... and when i checked... i saw that the member has not logged if for quite some time... so i think it is okay to delete them...

Hi agihcam, well I too have this problem. But have not decided as yet whether to delete them or just let the invites stay. And I am already on your friends list so no problem for me.

Did you check whether or not the member is still active here on mylot?

I've realized that some old members here in mylot are no longer active. I actually checked their account. And I am sad because I am used to seeing them around.

But then how come just even one did not accept your request. So far I have not experienced such thing and I hope it will not.

Some people join myLot and then don't stick around for one reason or another, so they might not even see your friend request.

Others aren't sure what it is about and think a friend request here is like on some of the other social networking sites where if you're a friend, you're expected to 'hit' all of your friends' pages every day, leaving comments or whatever. If they see you have nothing in common, they deny the request.

Don't worry about them. Continue to post and pay attention to what YOU do.

yes i have had some like that, but if dont accept the friendship i delete them when about a week
one of them, and i do not understand why not accepted, i see has done discussions days AFTER i sent friendship requests, so i really not understand why she not want to accept, since had responding to discussion of mine and i liked what say.. anyway if dont accept it after few days, i delete (i am trying to get to 500 posts at the moment, my next goal hehe, fed up of creating discussions and loosing them as i cna not copy n paste )
