When I'm hot, nothing else matters!

I share the same feelings towards mother nature like you buddy.. I keep on complaining her why this 'Summer'??
Summer is really hot here in India. The most problem is it's humidity. You'll have to sweat all day long here. And when you are out in noon, Sun sucks all the vitality from you. I really hate this season and unfortunately it is the longest season in India.
To preven the hot I eat lots of fruits like mango, cucumber etc. and try to remain in home as much as possible to keep my cool.

I am staying in a tropical country,so heat actually is nothing for me. But of course if the weather is too hot,I will take shower more times in a day and drink some cool stuffs to make myself cool or I will just hide in an air-conditioned room. But if want to comparison between coldness and heat,I am more afraid to coldness.

It depends actually. If I've been feeling cold and lonely, a bit of sunshine usually cheers me up and I make hay when the sun is shining. Although I have to say that I hate the heat to some extent. I'm one pig and I perspire a lot, more than a normal person does and if the fans are not working when I sweat, I usually freak out and I lose concentration. It happens in the class especially If I play basketball during recess and sweat profusely.

I have never had heat strokes or any such things, but I cannot really give my 100% in a very humid and hot environment.

The heat does not make me feel sick, I can usually tolerate the heat, the humidity is what makes me feel bad. It's been very hot and humid here in New Jersey the last seven days. I mostly stayed in the house with the blinds and windows closed. Lots of showers help, but after getting out, if it is humid you do not even feel like you had one

hi beautyqueen26! I don't like when It's hot. When it's summer.. I wan to take a bath at least 3 times a day then I drink a cold, cold water. I get a headache when the weather is hot and I don't feel like sleeping even If there's a fan, frankly I don't have air conditioned. I assure that I will take a bottle of water when I have to go out somewhere, it's hard to have a dry mouth and hit by heat stroke and get dehydrated. Thanks for the post my friend. =)

Yes the heat bothers me so I tend to just stay in where it is cool to avoid
going out and getting over heated and sick. I had that once as a kid and never want it again it was awful. I hear of cases where people go out in the heat and en up with heat stroke and have to go to the hospital. I make sure I keept lots of liquid s in me on days lie this as well. If you don't have to go out stay in and stay cool I do.

I too hate heat.It makes me sweat all the time.In my native place the temperature is 40 degree celcius and when the current goes off i cannot stand it.

Oh my GOODNESS! It's a wonder you weren't blinded by that stuff. I bet you were sick, in the heat on top of it all.

Funny a 'heat' discussion has come up. Just yesterday I was thinking about that very thing.

I use to could work in the heat all day. Not anymore, now I get dizzy and nauseated in no time after being out in it, or even in the house for that matter with the AC on.

I live in southeast Georgia and it's hot here anyway, but the humidity mixed in with it is a killer for me.

It could be I'm just older now (50) and my body doesn't tolerate it anymore.

Yesterday I went out to work on the chicken coup, mind you we're under heavy, thick oak trees, the sun can't even penetrate the leaves and branches; so I'm not even in the sun, and all of a sudden a wave of nausea would come over me. I had sweat pouring off my face.

I keep plenty of water on hand, I don't over exert myself, I have a wet towel to wipe my face, but each summer it gets harder.

I could understand it if I was digging a hole in the sun, but messing around with filling nest boxes...I don't get it.

Like I said, I can be in the house cleaning and if I get a little hot, the nausea hits.

I hate it too because I like to work outside in my yard, I like to piddle around and do small projects.

I don't feel so alone now. hehe. When the A/C is not working at work I get way too over heated and I get a headache, my head gets fuzzy, I feel stomach sick and it ruins my whole day. I would much rather be too cold. Everyone else at work doesn't seem to get as sick as I do when it's too hot. There have been times where I leave and go home because I can't take it. It makes me feel like a complainer. lol.

I love the heat it can get to be a bit much but I will just eat some ice to cool down. Plus a dip in the pool always keeps me cool. I dont even use the AC in my house much as I want to save money. I have always been one who loves the heat the hubby hates coming home to a hot house but he will live lol.
