Yes, it is true. There are those who refer to the Obama-messiah to ridicule both Obama and those who might adore him too much. Now, someone has written a satrical article about this very thing, Obama as messiah. Here it is. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/comment/columnists/gerard_baker/article4392846.ece Is this funny or not. Is this sacrilegious or not. I say it is both. What do you say?

But, he did not follow it through to conclusion - The "child" is crucified and buried. Even though he "rises" from his grave after 3 days; he is only with us for another 40 days before he leaves forever to live in the "land of his father", never to return and set foot among us again.

That remains to be seen, but is an interesting ending.

LOL... you are exactly right. I'm pretty sure Obama is a citizen in these other countries. I'll betcha if he tried to become ruler in one of those countries they would change their minds about him real quick.

Well, when you write a story drawing based on a previous story; you don't just stop before you get to the end of the story. Considering how "warmly" Obama was received overseas; if he is defeated in this election; he would do well to go to another country and run as their leader. If I remember correctly, he was raised in Indonesia and his father was from Kenya - he may have dual citizenship with one or both of those countries.

Funny? Somewhat but not very original. Sacrilegious? No not really.

In a sense it was a 'cookie cutter' formulistic easy to punch out piece. As to being sacriliegious, I do know people who I would not show it to in order to not make them mad.

All hail the Messiah Obama, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Obama is the Messiah, king of kings and lord of lords. Boy I fell horrible after writing that, I hope God has a sense of humor. He has to I would think to have put up with humans for so long. I cannot imagine why some have siad that Obama is the Antichrist.

Yes, it is hard to know how to take this satire. Is it a slam on Obama? Yes, it is. Is it also a slam on religion? Maybe, I'm not sure. As to Obama being the anti-Christ, I already have compared him to Robert Mugabee of Zimbabwe. The analogy is very strong and the result could be the same for the same reasons.
