Would you ever go on a vacation alone?

I never have but I think it would be great! I would love a spa weekend!:)

I have never been on vacation alone, but I have always thought about taking a couple of days off by myself and checking into a nice hotel to spend the time in thought, reflection, meditation & prayer. I would love to know where your friend went. This sounds ideal.

I've never done so before however I have a friend who did twice and had a wonderful time. She said she'd do it again in a heartbeat. lol I thought she was nuts but hey, everybody is different. The first time she went to Cancoon for the weekend and the second time she just went to the beach by herself to think. I told her she has more guts that I do for I don't think I'd feel comfortable going anywhere like that alone! Now a spa is something entirely different and I think I could do that!

I went to aspin once alone trying to ski, sis I fell more times in one day then i had in my whole life. While all these kids ages 6 and up were on ski's zipping around me like they were in the olimpics or something. I did wish I had brough a GF along to share it with or at least to help me into the tub to soak. lol

No never. but i want to go one day alone to visit some place where know one will know me. i want to stay alone for some time. want to give some time to know what exactly i want from life. how to lead it to get success. who i am. There is lots of questions in my mind. I have to get answer for that before its too late to know.

I think that it would be very relaxing to visit a spa alone. I have been away on vacation alone many times. After saying goodbye to my sister I flew around the world on my own when I was 20 years old. I have had holidays in Malta, Tunisia and in the Maldives on my own. I met other travelers and the local people more easily by being alone rather than with a friend or a partner. These days I travel with my toddler son but it was so wonderful to travel alone like I used to in the past.

I have been a mother for 13 years. I haven't really had a break away from my family. I have always been there for at least one of them, including my husband. I have been talking about going away on my own. I certainly need a break from every day life and be just me instead of being a wife and mother.

I was thinking about it. I'd prefer to vacation with my husband, but curretly we are living in two dierent countries. I would probably go to Toronto for a day or two, or to Montreal to see my relatives, if I needed to get away. I would want my husband to be with me, ut if he had to stay in AZ, and I was stuck up here in Canada anyway, I woudln't have uch of a choice.

Momma..I've never done that yet but i maybe tempted..who knows what person i might meet and a spa treament sounds yummy right now!

No, I don't think I can recall ever going on vaction by myelf I have always went with my husbands and my kids. I don't know what I would do if I went alone. When I've have bad days or I get stress out I often threaten that I will LOL but I think they know it's just a threat. LOL.
